oneday in the front of class at the one of leading campus depok, conversations occurred between college student in class while waiting for the lecture. they are budi.asmi.and nanang.

Budi : hmm.. where is everybody ? maybe I came too early

Asmi : hi, bro. are you alone? where is nanang?

Budi : I do not know, just wait.

Asmi : oh there you are, nang.

nanang: hi everybody. I thought that I could be late coming to campus . where is the lecturer of cost accounting ?

Asmi : the time now is eight past half. maybe she will come on 8 o’clock

Budi : by the way, are you all ready for the mid test?

nanang : what? mid test? oh.you are just kidding me

Budi : do not telling me if you are not know if the mid test is taking place for a week later. do you?

nanang : oh my god. I have not prepared at all.

Asmi : when do you ever realize to prepare all the things? hahaha . .

Budi : there is the lecture coming . let’s we go to the class.

Rinna : good morning, class?

All : good morning mam.

Rinna : how are you today?

All : we are fine, mam

Rinna : okay, so what about our today? do you have prepared to study right now?

All : not yet, mam

Rinna : okay, because of you are all not ready for study, so I am ending the lecture for today. have fun guys, see you all, god bless you.

All : okay, mam. see you too

( an hour later next lecturer is coming . the english for business lecture )

Eka : good morning everybody?

All : good morning sir

Eka : my lecture today will be running in very short time. I just only will ask a simple question for you. the question is “what is business?” nanang, can you answer it?

nanang : business is money, so if have not money there is no business

Eka : poor you. ashamed for your age. you are in third grade of your college. that was not an answer. even a kindergarten student can answer better than you were.

All : hahahaha . . .

Budi : you are stupid, gan

nanang : I am not stupid. I would rather like if you call me less smart than stupid. hahahaha . . .

Eka : silent please! budi, can you answer that question?

Budi : according to the book that I had read. business is an activities to obtain a maximum profit with a maximum capital we have.

Eka : good answer. I like it. I think you are can understand what that mean. so.I am ending this lecture. see you next week.

nanang feels desprate for the mid test, he is planning for negotiate something with the lectureres. what is the negotiation about?

nanang : speda, anybody here?

Rinna : hello, nang. please come in can I help you??

nanang : the mid test starts in two days, I have not prepared at all and it fells so hard for me.

Rinna : which part is hard ?

nanang : I think all of it.

Rinna : so, what can I help you?

nanang : I think you are understand. (give an envelope –which is much money on it to the lecturer)

Rinna : ok, I can get it.

nanang : it is nice to working with you.

Rinna : you are welcome.

(other negotiation)

nanang : excuse me, sir, may I come in?

Eka : oh nanang, please come in.

nanang : the mid test starts in two days, I have not prepared at all and it feels so hard for me

Eka : so, what I can help you?

nanang : I think you are understand

Eka : poor you. this is not the right way. I am not a type of lecturer like what you thinking of. knowledge is important but you can not value it with money. you must study hard for it. I believe you can make it

nanang : but it is too late

Eka : nothing is too late and nothing is imposible

nanang : .....(speechless)

the result are sharing two weeks after the mid test. nanang has a better mark for cost accounting than english for business. he fails in english for business so he has to re-class for it the purpose of this story is we can not hoping with a “ short cut” we must prepared all the thing for our best.
